I can't afford to jeopardize this, but if I stay just a few second longer..." *As if on cue, the bird he had rode in on swoops down through the village, low enough for him to leap on as it passes, flying non-stop over the Hokage monument, en route to the Land of Rivers.*

... Yellow toad * has a annoyed face on his face * we are here numbskull ...* both their seals light up and naruto is transported to next to them* why in such a hurry kid...

*blade does a few handsigns then activates a jutsu allowing him to become light enough to fly as he follows the man in the bird and naruto*
(it's the same technique the tsuchikage used in the manga to fly towards the island turtle)

*On the far outskirts of the village, a small group of hunter nin stop in their tracks as they watch the scene happen before them from afar.*
"So, we were trailing a decoy this whole time?"
"Seems that way. Now what?"
"Pfft, I was already pissed off as it is. Don't even know why the bosses are so interested in what the kid's up to. Must involve something big."
"But everyone trailing him ends up dead somehow. I'm sure the last ones said this as well, before they too died."
*Lets out a sigh.* "Fine fine. Let's return home. The trail's gone cold anyway. We've been tailing this decoy for over a hundred miles."
*With that, the group of shinobi vanish in a puff of smoke.*

(It's actually cause the kid is miles away lol. The one here was just a Phoenix Feather Clone. When the other ninja attacked him in the other thread, some feathers flew off of the bird. He was one of those feathers, having transformed into one of them, while leaving a feather clone in his place to continue toward Konoha to throw off his trackers, and to search out something else. When he was found out, the feather clone exploded and so he's long gone... actually never here to begin with lol)
