History//Legend of the Yamazaru Clan:
The legend of the Yamazaru Clan goes way back. Some claim that the father of the Clan is none other than the Four- Tails Jinchuriki, Roshi. However the earliest recorded member of the Yamazaru clan is Ichu Yamazaru. As far as records show Ichu Yamazaru was rushed out of Iwagakure after the fourth Great Shinobi War. He was then placed in the care of a traveling circus. It is unknown why he was sent out of the village but it was certainly a high level mission as he had escorts. After ten years of traveling with the circus working as an acrobat, he developed a relationship with the circus monkeys. He grew curious of their life style and, after hearing about Enma the monkey king and his relationship with the Third Hokage in a stop at Konoha, he set out on a mission to find this so called king of the monkeys. After years of searching, he finally came across Enma’s temple with a tomb in the center.
Heartbroken that he would never meet the great monkey king, Ichu decided to at least spend the night to pay his respect. During the night he noticed he was being observed by a figure in the shadows. The figure turned out to be Goro, the son of Enma and new monkey king. Goro was moved that Ichu wanted to pay respect to his father and offered to train Ichu. After assessing Ichu’s skill, Goro decided that Ichu had no sense of purpose having been traveling for years and forgotten his home. Goro told Ichu that in order to continue with the training he needed to go through meditation and figure out what he wanted to do with his life. Ichu, through meditation, resolved to follow the honorable path of the third hokage and join the leaf village who had been so kind to him during his stay. Goro taught Ichu how to use his acrobatics to form a new type of taijutsu that resembled a playful monkey. Goro also helped Ichu tap into his chakra by pushing him to the brink of death in combat. When Ichu was able to trigger this chakra he and Goro worked to help him focus it into what became the Primate Cloak. Before going to the Konoha, Ichu questioned whether or not they would let an outsider become a shinobi. Goro handed Ichu a scroll and told Ichu to make a blood oath and summon him if they needed convincing.
When Ichu returned to the leaf village he was brought before Tsunade and was forced to provide some sort of identification to back up his story. Ichu summoned Goro who began to explain everything. Ichu settled into the village and was given the honorary rank of Jonin without having to go through standard procedure. Through the years the Yamazaru clan grew to an average sized clan of moderate respect in the village. Ichu taught his children and grandchildren what Goro taught him years before. Ichu’s son Talo was the only one to gain Goro’s respect and summon him. Years have passed since then and Goro has yet to be seen again.
Kekkei Genkai//Bloodline of the Yamazaru Clan:
The Yamazaru Clan is are best known for their Taijutsu, Monkey Fist. This particular style of taijutsu has a reputation for being spastic and frustrating opponents much like the Drunken Fist. Due to their intense training in body and spirit, the Yamazaru clan is able to perform acrobatic flips and kicks that seem almost impossible for mere humans. This technique was first learned by Ichu who studied primates in their natural life as part of Goro’s training. To further enhance this technique Goro helped Ichu tap into his vast quantities of chakra to form the Primate Cloak. This technique is much like the Nine Tails Cloak. The user’s chakra surrounds them in a visible cloak that enhances their speed and strength. While in the Primate Cloak the user will tend to be slightly more unpredictable and the cloak will form a full functioning chakra tail to aid in the acrobatic nature of the users Taijutsu. Furthermore, the user’s feet change shape completely becoming another set of hands. The drawback to this jutsu is the intense physical drain it causes. Another specialty of the Yamazaru clan is their affinity for monkeys that leads to their ability to summon them. At one point in time they were able to summon Goro the Monkey King but as of yet he has not found anyone other than Ichu’s son Talo worthy enough to command him and has since gone into hiding.
