Sachiaru Bakuto (幸有る 博徒, "Lucky Gambler") is a rogue ninja from the Village Hidden in the Sand. As a member of the Taiyō (太陽, "Sun") clan, he was entrusted with guarding a series of precious ancient ruins and hieroglyphs left behind by one of the Two Great Gods (二大神, "Ni Daikami"), Harahkti - Creator of Light. However, Bakuto did not wish to remain in the desert wasteland of Sunagakure, as he believed that every day in life was a gamble, not something to be predicted and wasted. So, he abandoned his village, his country, his duties, and his clan, and set out for the Village Hidden in the Mist to begin a new and completely free life.
Abilities
Even at a young age, Bakuto was known as somewhat of a genius among his people, possessing great power and skill even among his own kinsmen. This was brought up short by his arrogance and cocky attitude. However, while he can be quite arrogant and devious, he is also very intelligent. As a true master card-player, he is almost impossible to read, making him tricky to deal with in every sense of the word.
Bakuto has an affinity for Water and Lightning element techniques, which allows him to fit in quite well with his new family in the Mist village. His affinities help to support each other, as his Water nature is weak against Earth nature, while Earth nature is weak against his Lightning nature.
As a member of the Taiyō clan, which is the Sun clan in service to Harahkti, Bakuto also possesses an innate affinity for Yang Release, as every other member in his clan does. This was passed down to them by the Rikudō Sennin, who imparted a part of his power to them; the Yang half, as he and Harahkti were allies. This allows him to use techniques based on the physical energy that governs vitality, to breathe life into form.
By utilizing this special nature, the members of his clan are able to use a very special Kekkei Genkai called Tokushu no Kuchiyose (特殊の口寄せ, "Special Summoning"), only possessed by members of this particular clan. This allows them to use special Jutsu through the use of a series of cards (based on the hieroglyphs they protect) that they possess.
These cards can be put into 3 categories. Monster, Magic, and Trap. They are chakra encoded, and by using their Yang Release chakra, members of the Taiyō clan can give life to these cards. This is similar to Sai's technique to bring his artwork to life, but the Taiyō clan actually brings the cards to life as more than just moving drawings. They can literally bring the actual object/creature out of the cards.
For example, the Trap Card called "Mirror Force" will come to life and create a powerful barrier in front of the user to stop oncoming attacks and reflect them back at the attacker. This is one of the more powerful ninja traps, so it requires a greater amount of chakra.
The Spell Cards are used as ninja tools to attack with, bolster the user's power, or weaken the opponent. For example, "Meteor of Destruction" will send a large burning boulder at the opponent to crush them, while "Dian Keto the Cure Master" acts as a Medical Ninjutsu to heal the user's wounds.
Monster Cards are the most fearsome. These summon various creatures ranging from non-threatening to overwhelming in power. Skilled Tokushu no Kuchiyose users are able to summon powerful creatures that far surpass the power of any normal Kuchiyose technique. The stronger the monster, the more chakra and skill needed to summon it. In fact, chakra is required to use any card in this way, whether Monster, Spell, or Trap class.
Bakuto in particular has taken this to a level that few in his clan have witnessed before, allowing him to summon extremely powerful creatures. He has even managed to summon an especially powerful species in particular that he has made his signature summon.

The Burūaizu Howaito Doragon (青眼の白龍, "Blue-Eyes White Dragon") is a legendary and a powerful engine of destruction. Virtually invincible, very few have faced this awesome creature and lived to tell the tale. It is Bakuto's favorite and most-used special summon.
As the name suggests, it is a large white dragon of immense power, with deep blue eyes. When light is reflected off of it, by say the sun, it is said to be impossible to look at.
It is further capable of emitting a powerful beam of pure destructive energy from its mouth that possesses considerable force, able to obliterate most summons completely with one shot. Like most dragons, it is also capable of flight. Bakuto often uses this as a means of travel for long distances. Bakuto even possesses other cards which serve to augment its powers. One of such allows him to fuse three of these beasts to form one ultimate dragon.
Burūaizu Arutimetto Doragon

The Burūaizu Arutimetto Doragon (青眼の究極竜, "Blue-Eyes Ultimate Dragon") is a dragon of ultimate power, formed by the fusion of 3 Blue-Eyes White Dragons.. It is characterized by three awe-inspiring heads and possesses far greater power than any 3 Blue-Eyes White Dragons do individually.

The destructive power of its triple Horobi no Bāsuto Sutorīmu (滅びの爆裂疾風弾, "Burst Stream of Destruction") possesses every bit as much destructive power as a Bijūdama (Tailed-Beast Ball) from a fully-formed Bijū. Instead of combining the beams of the three individual heads, each one is able to aim elsewhere for even greater widespread damage. It is so large and tough that not even a Rasenshuriken can deal significant damage to it.

The Burūaizu Shainingudoragon (青眼の光龍, "Blue-Eyes Shining Dragon") is the most powerful form of the Blue-Eyes summon that Bakuto possesses, imbued with light from Harahkti himself. It is a Blue-Eyes White Dragon that has transcended the Ultimate Dragon state. It is summoned through the Blue-Eyes Ultimate Dragon, hatching from it like a baby chick from its egg shell.
While much smaller than its previous form, the Shining Dragon possesses far greater destructive power and durability. Its unique shape also allows it to fly at a faster speed. Summoning it requires a great deal of chakra, however.

Ame no Kuchiyose
Just as the Uchiha possess the Sharingan, and a select few possess a version of the Sharingan that surpasses it, the Mangekyō Sharingan, so do certain select members of the Taiyō clan possess a more advanced version of the Kekkei Genkai they are born with. It is called Ame no Kuchiyose (天の口寄せ, "Divine Summoning").
As stated before, only a select few members can possess this advanced Kekkei Genkai. It allows the user to summon one of the Three Guardian God (三後見神, "San Kōkenkami") summons, which were forged after Egyptian Gods created by Harahkti himself to fit specific roles, each possessing a unique power of their own. Bakuto is able to summon Oberisuku no Kyoshinhei.
Oberisuku no Kyoshinhei

Oberisuku no Kyoshinhei (オベリスクの巨神兵, "God of Obelisk") is named after one of the Three Guardian Gods created by Harahkti. It is large, blue, and humanoid in shape, and sports a very strong and muscular body. Obelisk is the Guardian God that uses overwhelming brute force to crush its opposition. Its strength is so massive that one punch from it is capable of destroying the Blue-Eyes Ultimate Dragon and even matching the legendary Kyūbi no Yōko (Nine-Tailed Demon Fox).
Obelisk annihilates the Ultimate Dragon with a single punch.To further augment its unrivaled physical power, Obelisk is able to increase its strength to a level of Mugen (Infinity) for a single all-out attack. Whether the attack hits or misses, this leaves Obelisk drained, followed by its immediate de-summoning, where it will need to rest for 72 hours before being summoned again. This will hardly be needed, however, as Obelisk's innate physical strength and durability will normally be enough to handle most any opposition. While it is capable of being damaged by extremely powerful attacks, such as Kirin, most attacks won't even cause it to feel even the slightest sensation, due to the raw toughness of its body.
As should be obvious with a summon of this level, it requires massive amounts of chakra to summon and to maintain, preventing it from staying out for too long. The user is usually left drained afterward, needing a day to rest and recover.
As Harahkti forged the Three Guardian Gods from his own power, merging Oberisuku no Kyoshinhei with Oshirisu no Tenkūryū (オシリスの天空竜, "The Sky Dragon of Osiris") and Rā no Yokushinryū (ラーの翼神竜, "The Winged God Dragon of Ra") would generate a force of infinite might, which is why Harahkti had split them (Harahkti is actually the fused form of the Egyptian God cards in the Yu-Gi-Oh! anime).
An even more advanced, and forbidden, form of this Kekkei Genkai exists, called Akazu no Kuchiyose (開かずの口寄せ, "Forbidden Summoning"). A technique that has yet to be awakened, this brings together the 5 scattered and sealed pieces of an ultimate Dark God created by Akumu - Creator of Darkness, summoning a being of its likeness and unleashing its overwhelming might, which is capable of destroying 3 Blue-Eyes White Dragons in one shot.
Though these summons are not the actual gods themselves, they still possess considerable strength capable of matching, and even surpassing that of the Bijū.
Other Abilities
Bakuto is very skilled and tactical with the cards that he uses. Outside of that, he possesses decent levels of the rudimentary ninja skills. Since he primarily fights and uses techniques through his cards, he never had the practice and training to perfect many of the other ninja arts, though his skill makes that a non-factor. The amount of chakra it takes to use his Kekkei Genkai practically has caused him to develop a huge chakra reserve, rivaling Kisame's. Akatsuki has had their eye on this individual for a while because of his talents, but will Tasogare, Akatsuki's rival, get to him first? Only time will tell.
