Sekiryō: "Hmm, I should have Maneru do an investigation in the lab later on. We don't want something like that happening again..." *He trails off in thought, looking back down as she becomes closer and looks back at him as well.* "It's not your fault... things happen... we can't always control... future..." *His words become less focused the closer she gets, his mind blanking out just a bit while a tinge of pink can be seen in his face from the rise in temperature.* "I..." *Is all he can get out before he's silenced by her lips, with a somewhat shocked and frozen expression on his face, mainly caused from the centuries of isolation and distancing he had done during the hiatus. Slowly his body begins to naturally respond, returning the gesture while tightening his grip.*
Kai: *Loudly clears his throat a few seconds later, having obviously regained his focus.* "You're not alone, you know?" *His voice sounds slightly annoyed.*

Kage chuckles against his lips at his lapse of though her own face tinged pink from a light blush that showed upon her cheeks. She smirked feeling a small rush from kissing him like she always does her body relaxed now like it did 600 or so years ago when this happened before. Slowly she pulled back nipping his bottom lip playfully as she did so before leaning back against him. "You didn't have to watch little boy..." She pointed out her right hand laced into Sekiryo's.
She chuckled at her statement beforeputting her face on his shoulder near his neck where Kai can not see her face due to Seki's hair in the way. Smirking she gave a playful nip to his neck and then kissed the spot gently to sooth the skin afterwards.

(( Work tried to break me with all sorts of bs I couldn't even accurately explain in a short post, to try to get me fired with false stuff, but like a phoenix, I just got back up and now I'm back! Back as in, not feeling like my soul has been sucked out lol))
Sekiryō: *He leans into the kiss more, still trying to retain a degree of rational thought in between breaths.* "We shouldn't..." "... be doing this...." "... you just had..." "... a near aneurism..." "... you need to be..." "... looked at for..." "... anything wrong..." *Eventually his hands find her waist, where they instinctively begin to squeeze and knead, still trying to keep a focused mind on the situation. He winces from being nipped in such a sensitive spot, on his neck, but makes no move to fight it either, and he moves to leave his own mark on Kage's neck, when...*

*His body tenses up and he winces mildly in pain as a burning sensation overcomes the back of his hand. Grunting in slight pain, he lifts his arm, with said burning hand attacked, to check out the back of his hand, seeing letters from a special marking appearing on the back of his hand, a message from Maneru.*
Konoha has sent a word out. Expert Earth Release masters are needed in the village for emergency needs. We're affiliated. We should go there immediately. It sounds urgent.
*He sighs slightly, fighting the urge to not pull away and allow things to take their natural course. With a defeated sound, he gently pulls away from the girl in his arms, though keeping a firm grip on her to help her stand as he does too, to make sure she has any balance left.* "Maneru just sent me a message. The Hidden Leaf apparently needs all Earth masters to gather in the village for some very urgent reason. As bad as his timing is..." *He speaks with a low growl of annoyance.* "... we should head over there as soon as possible."
Kai: *He lets out a sigh of relief.* "Thank goodness. I thought you two were gonna..." *He pauses deliberately.* "... right here in the open." *But then he lets out the slightest of smirks.* 'So, the Hokage got my proposal after all...'

Kage grumbled at the timing before nodding her balance back as perfect as it had been before the slight attack. "We should head that way then.... It will give us a chance to use douton so I suppose it's a worthy cause... besides... I can always drag you to the Senju manor if I want to make up for the interruption."

((Damn I didn't see this thread was posted in until now >_> Well... I'm gonna say that THIS reply took place before my newest thread in this section, cause it would line up lol ))
Sekiryō: *He nods as well, looking off towards Konoha.* "Likewise. While you're doing that, I'm going to head toward the Valley of the End. There's something I need to finish. I have a feeling it's going to be needed." *He places a hand on her shoulder in a comforting gesture.* "I"m sure of all villages, yours would be fine. Not even zombies would feel immortal there." *He laughs with a wink.*

I'll need to lay low and rest for that time, and I can't let anyone know where I'll be. Not a single soul. That's how weak I will be at the time." *He chuckles at himself.* "You're needed in your village anyway. It can be done faster if we both take care of them at the same time, and then I'll see you in about a day."

"Heh. There are some things you know I know I can't trust you with." *He teases her back with a subtle wink.* "I'll probably be in the Sand then. I'll be making a quick stop to the Cloud village first, though, and I may end up in the Leaf before the day is over. Someone like you should have no trouble finding me anyway. I've nearly nowhere to hide." *He laughs before his body separates into two faded halves, appearing as after-images that begin to fade away.* "Stay safe." *Before vanishing completely.*
((It feels weird posting in the past, considering I'm using him in another thread that takes place after these events lol))
