Kai: *Arches an eyebrow after Naruto leaves to meet the Raikage.* "He's willing to let me show him around even though I'm after someone he apparently knows? Hn, interesting. I hope the Hokage told him the phrase to use in case the Raikage wants proof that I recommended him. I didn't get to tell the Raikage about it yet..." *He trails off while looking up at the building in thought.*

Kai: "!!!" *His eyes shoot open.* "What the-"

???: "Kuchiyosi no Jutsu!" *A voice echoes through the mountains in a low bellow, followed by a loud "POOF!" sound.*

Kai: *A large shadow overtakes the area, coupled with a large plummeting noise. He looks up in time to see a giant figure looming above them, quickly bearing down on top of them.*

"Shit!" *He grabs his right wrist with his left hand, pointing it up at an angle to face the monstrosity.* "Raiton: Jijō no Jutsu!" (Lightning Release: Magnetic Field Technique)

*From his hand, a large bluish negative-pole barrier encircles him, growing in size to cover the area where the creature is about to land. As the creature enters this field, Kai converts it into a positive-pole object, causing it to be repelled from its destination, instead crashing down on top of another block that had been less populated at the time.*

"A... toad?" *Kai's eyes widen somewhat as the summoned creature in question, which had just now demolished a portion of the village with its weight and size, turns out to be an enormous frog.*

Gammabunta: "Grrr!" *He rubs his rear from the sudden shock of landing out of nowhere.* "Who the hell went and decided to summon me like this!?"

???: "Apparently... I did."

Gammabunta: *Eyes widen in absolute shock, unable to formulate any words.* "J... J..."

[Uzumaki Naruto]

Looks like this will have to wait lord raikage*he says as he stands up as he hears the roars of the elder toad * this isn't going to be good... Gamabunta has become even more short tempered in his old age


* as he opens his looking upon the toad funkken and jukken on his shoulders naruto leaps off his toad the air around him making him almost levitating above the village facing both the new coming and gamabunta*

Kai: *Using his own magnetic field, he jumps up and repels himself away, sending him upward at rushing speeds to the top of one of the nearby mountains, standing across from the one the newcomer is standing on. He can't make out what he looks like, because the sun is behind him, but he can slightly make out a huge amount of spiky hair coming from a rather large figure.*

???: "Naruto? Is that you? I guess it hasn't been that long then. I'm glad I get to see you again!" *His voice sounds like he's flashing a grin, but his next voice sounds like lament.* "But not like this."

[Uzumaki Naruto]

True ... * he speaks softly kinda naruto looks at him with a grin*

Kai: "So... this must be..."



"... Jiraiya..."

Jiraiya: *He looks over at Kai now, a new face to the older man.* "And who might you be?"

Kai: *Bows slightly.* "I am Kai, sir. I've heard a lot about you, especially from my sensei, Suzaku. I know practically everything there is to know about you."

Jiraiya: *Scratches his head a little.* "I like to keep some things a secret, you know... Suzaku? I don't think I've heard of him, or that name before."

Kai: *Sighs.* "I'm not surprised by that, though because of who he is, he'd know a lot about you. You must have been summoned by the Sound."

Jiraiya: *Shakes his head in frustration, or confusion.* "I don't know who summoned me. I was simply summoned here with a powerful urge to attack this village. You two have to run, now! I'm using something called Sage Mode. You'll both be bulldozed!"

(Jiraiya doesn't know about Naruto's Sage Mode lol)

Kai: "Well... your Sage Mode is one of the things I know about you, and I'm not just gonna sit by and let my village get manhandled." *He cracks his neck from side to side.* "Besides..." *He smirks.* "You're not the only Sage here."

Jiraiya: *Has a look of bewilderment on his face.* "... come again?"

I guess my hand is forces gamabunta isn't gonna be happy about this... * naruto disappears for a split second using his enhanced speed to almost instantly latch on to gamabunta and hisenhanced strength to launch gamabunta out of the village into the air * I'm not gonna enjoy this my old master...

"gamabunta is no longer the battle toad... He has been promoted to sage elder toad... You've been gone longer then you think master.. Close to 550 years now... And gamaichu has tooken his place.."

Jiraiya: *As he witnesses Naruto's movements, the cogs in his head click.* 'Naruto... so you...' *His eyes wide, he begins to smile proudly before his body jerks into motion, automatically responding to Naruto's movements. With the same Sage-enhanced speed, he intercepts Naruto as he grabs Gammabunta, using Naruto's awkward position to deliver a powerful kick to his side.*

"Dammit... all..!"

Kai: "Wow... so this is the speed of the Toad Sage..." *His eyes harden as he crouches down and throws a slew of shuriken out towards Jiraiya, appearing a near impossible feat as the shuriken number well over 100.*

Jiraiya: *Acting in automatic response, he whips his head around, his hair shooting out hundreds of sharp hair needles to intercept the shuriken. At their speeds, they easily ping off of and deflect the shuriken harmlessly.*

Kai: "He clenches his hands into fists, while at the tips of his fingers are revealed to be over a dozen wires tied around each one, attached to each individual shuriken. Clenching his fish has just pulled these wires, triggering the traps inside the shuriken. Each sharp tip of the shuriken shoots out into a separate projectile, also attached to more wiring on the inside. These points, with wires attached, all spread and wrap around Jiraiya and Gamma.*

Jiraiya: *Knowing the wires will not be able to hold him, he shouts.* "You're going to need to do better than- GUAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAH!" *He lets out a pained scream as a powerful surge of electricity surges through the wires and into Jiraiya and Gammabunta from Kai using Chidori Nagashi to channel the lightning chakra through the wires.*

Gammabunta: *With a powerful kick of his legs, he leaps into the air at a high enough speed to cause Kai to disconnect the wires from his hands, lest he be pulled with him, disconnecting the electric current from the two while landing a good distance away, careful not to damage any more buildings. Jiraiya breaks the wires off with ease.*

"Oh what to do. I don't want to help Jiraiya destroy you guys, but it's so hard to force my will to fight and destroy him. I don't know what to do!"

Kai: "Remarkable. Even after that attack, Jiraiya doesn't seem phased at all..."

[Uzumaki Naruto]

naruto takes the hit as the dust clears from what has happened he seems unphased from his old masters kick looking at jayria now still mid air *

Naruto does a hand sign transforming into nearly 5000 clones on the village roof tops * I don't want to do this but if I have to I'm not going to let this suffering last long... You deserve to rest peacfully jairya ...

[Shinku no Yami]

Jiraiya: "You sound so grown up, Naruto." *He smiles.* "And all this talk of putting me to sleep like I'm a little kid or a sick puppy. Wahahahahaha!" *He laughs with a grin on his face.*

Kai: "I don't think outnumbering him alone is going to work. He's known for having hefty stamina too. He can probably match clone for clone. Also..." *He looks at the fully in-tact Edo Tensei Jiraiya.* "He's been resurrected with that technique. He's not gonna tire out no matter what. We can't spend ourselves too fast, especially since making clones shortens your time in Sage Mode."

"Besides, you don't need to make thousands of split Sages." *He holds his hand out, two fingers held up.* "You only need two."

[Uzumaki Naruto]

Naruto smirks looking at him* I have lived for many years 530. ... *he looks at Kai and simply smiles and says * think back... When you were spying on both me and zaka what did I say?
* the clones jump onto gamabunta all the clones activating a trasfer seal in their hands transporting gama to the sage world *

Naruto - I had to make enough to send gamabunta back. And in his place ...

Naruto lowers himself on to gamabuntas son grown up larger then his father he appears in a poof of smoke has a pipe in his mouth *

Gamachiu - why have you brought me here naruto..* he looks around *

Naruto- I don't know if you know me Kai... But he is my old master... I'm quite known for my stamina as well ..


" master vs. Student ..."* he says with a smile *

[Shinku no Yami]

Jiraiya: *He leaps off of Gammabunta before he is transported away, performing another hand sign while in mid air.* "Kuchiyosi no Jutsu! Damn!" *As he free-falls, he lands softly on another toad's back, roughly the same size of Gammabunta, though noticeably bigger.* "It's useless to de-summon summons, Naruto. I can just summon them or more right back!" *But then he smirks.* "I always wanted to see how you'd grow up, and now is my chance to see how my training paid off."

Kai: "Spying? 530 years?" *His face forms a confused expression for a second, before shaking it off, folding his arms.*



"Anyway, Sage Mode is the perfect balance of spiritual, physical, and natural energy, requiring near to perfect chakra control. Even so, though, clones are especially dangerous as they divide your Sage chakra up, in this case by 5,000. I'm not sure how long your mode would normally last, but it's been cut by 1/5000. Maybe that's why he's not using clones..."

Jiraiya: "You seem to know an awful lot about Sage Mode, don't you?" *He crosses his arms, glad that for the moment, he's not being forced to attack.*

Kai: "I know all about Sage Mode, Jiraiya-sama. It's how I was able to successfully negate and evade your student back in the Sand village."

Jiraiya: "What?" *His eyes widen in that comedic anime fashion.* "How do you know so much about Sage Mode, and how did you know that Naruto here was a Sage if you avoided him?"

Kai: "Naruto...?" *He looks over at Naruto.* "530 years... you're THAT Naruto!" *He looks down at Jiraiya again, a smirk on his face.* "Surely you must know how one comes to know about Sage Mode that in-depth, and how I was able to recognize Naruto's chakra as Sage chakra."

Jiraiya: "No... you're not a Toad Sage." *He shakes his head slowly.* "Impossible. As a Toad Sage, I would have been able to sense it, like I was able to sense something in Naruto too."

Kai: *He chuckles now, putting a hand over his mouth.* "Jiraiya, you and Naruto are both Toad Sages, but did you honestly think that Toad Sages were the only kind of Sages? If I know this, surely you too must have known."

Jiraiya: "Other... sages?"

Kai: *He closes his eyes with a sigh.* "You and Naruto both trained on Mount Myōboku to become Toad Sages. Well, I trained on an island called Phoenicis." *He lifts his hands up, biting the palms of each hand while running a finger along each opposite hand to get a bit of blood on each middle finger. He wipes his fingers on the two largest blue markings on each side of his face, making a trail of blood from them all the way around his eyes. In a matter of seconds, his entire aura changes, causing his chakra levels to exponentially increase, as well as his appearance,. When he opens his eyes again, they now appear a golden color, his pupils becoming more slitted while the painting on his face spreads.*



*The air around him appears to wave and distort, as if his body were emitting a very powerful heat, causing the light to bend.*

"Did you never wonder where Katon: Hōsenka no Jutsu (Fire Release: Phoenix Sage Fire Technique) came from? I'm a Hō-ō Sennin." (鳳凰仙人; "Phoenix Sage")
