Naruto- smiles slightly listening to them *that explains quite a bit ... But * narutos eyes turn into a perfect sage mode with the eye change the marks like a toad appear on the side of his eyes ... * the this is Kai ... I have learned to use my sage mode in the split seconds of my attacks as well as * he points to his grounded and mediating original clone on the roof where the raikage and him were speaking * I haven't moved an inch along with not using relevantly no chakra of my own other the chakra around us... * he says with a grin..* 500 years is along time

Kai: "Well, that's exactly how Sage Mode works." *He closes his eyes with a smirk.* "Using chakra around you instead of from within you, but still even our stamina has limits. In this case, how long our forms will last." *He takes a few steps closer to Jiraiya.* "Toad Sage Mode is a little different from Phoenix Sage Mode. With Phoenix Sage, it has to me mastered in its perfect state, or it can't be mastered at all. This is the absolute form." *He eyes him out of the corner of his eye.* "That's why I was able to enter my Sage Mode in only a second without having to stand still for such a long period of time."
*Shifting his eyes back to Jiraiya, his enhanced hawk-like eyes are able to catch the slightest bit of movement in Jiraiya's arms, which are hidden behind his back.*
Jiraiya: "Sage Art: Go- GUAH!" *Before Jiraiya can finish his technique, he is cut off by an overwhelmingly fast kick making contact with his back, sanding him flying forward and off his summon's head. Before he can look back, he hears:*
Kai: "Senpō: Dai Shōnetsujigoku Kadō!" (Sage Art: Great Inferno Vortex)
*In an instant, a surging vortex of ignited wind overtakes Jiraiya from behind, using the sheer force and power of the wind to lift him up into the air inside of what looks like a large vertical column of fire. As Jiraiya is being incinerated on the inside, two more columns of super-heated air branch out from the main column that Jiraiya is trapped in. The columns weave in and out of each other before spreading, only to both come back together, colliding headfirst at the point where Jiraiya is, resulting in a massive burst of flames so intense that it almost appears like a star.*
*When the fire finally dies down, all that can be seen are a few ashes drifting towards the ground, which are blown away in the wind, inevitably to bring themselves back together, as Edo Tensei summons always do.*
Kai: *He now stands cross-armed on the top of the toad's head that Jiraiya had summoned.* "Another difference between Toad Sages and Phoenix Sages is that Phoenix Sages gain a greater boost in speed, in exchange for being less durable than Toad Sages. But that too isn't much of a problem. This aura of superheated air around me is a perfect shield."

Naruto- shakes his head looking at the ash fly away in the gust of wind as he closes his eyes naruto along with the toad summoning and naruto opens his eyes upon the raikage building roof top.. *
So who's this kakkzu( I proble Spelt that wrong) * he looks at Kai from a distance now. ...* his stomached growls *

(I just realized that Kai's sensei has the same name as that guy from Code MENT that I posted XD, but it has a different origin in the case))
Kai: 'The toad is still here...' *He turns to follow Naruto's voice, now seeing him on the Raikage's office roof.* "Suzaku is my sensei. He's a wise and powerful elder who taught me the ways of the Phoenix Sage. He explained that there are 4 different types of Sages. What type of sage we are is determined at birth. It's a sort of hidden power within, more like our inner traits, that determine which one we are." *His eyes shift slightly, looking over Naruto's shoulder to notice the miniscule traces of the ashes that were left behind, which now start to reform behind him. Even at their small size, his eyes are able to see them.*
"Behind you!"

* naruto his hands on the toad twisting hind self in the exact time the jayria would reform him self and in the split second of the attack his his chakra and a sir around his body would glidfully kick him across the face with tremendous strength and speed as he is launched across the airs above the village another clone kicks him head on out of the village his speed of the kick would create a crater the size of his body as he goes across the ground *
Naruto - sighs don't make me do this jayria ... * another clone speaks right above jayria outside the village with a ball in his hands it's red with three rings around the sphere *

Jiraiya: *As he is finished reforming himself, his eyes widen seeing a leg headed straight for his face. Just in time, he puts an arm up to block the kick, which still sends him towards the next clone. Unable to block the next kick, Jiraiya wraps his hair around his body, forming sharp needles that destroy the clone on contact while Jiraiya is sent flying towards the ground below, still covered in a cocoon of his razor sharp follicles.*
Kai: *He smirks at the situation, having leaped to one of the nearby mountains, though a sudden shocked expression comes across his face before he suddenly leaps to the side for no apparent reason. A split second later, a huge column of razor sharp white hair pierces up from the ground, narrowly missing Kai's chest from where it would have been had he not moved. Still the attack hits near its mark, piercing Kai's right arm, tearing the entire limb off completely. Kai lets out a loud sound of pain while being thrown off balance, tumbling down the side of the mountain in pain, before pushing himself off near the bottom and sliding across the water on his feet a good distance away, clutching his arm tightly.*
Jiraiya: *The column of hair unravels itself to reveal Jiraiya inside.* "I'm glad you somehow saw that coming, because I can't control anything I do!" *His eyes widen again as he is forced to leap up into the air, a good half mile above the village, with his palm extended downward.* "Oh no! I don't want to- Zettai Chōōdama Rasengan!" (Absolute Ultra-Big Ball Spiraling Sphere)
*From his hand forms a massive ball of rotating chakra, even bigger than Orochimaru's Yamata no Jutsu. The rotation alone causes a windstorm to whip up across the village. At the same time he involuntarily thrusts his palm down toward the village, his toad summon performs a hand sign, summoning 5 other large toads like himself, with 5 going after Naruto and 1 going after Kai, seeing that his is already injured.*
Kai: *Distracted by Jiraiya's attack, he has hardly any time to see the toad's attack coming before it's right on top of him with a large hammer swinging a foot in front of his face. As the toad finishes its swing, however, it finds that it had hit nothing but air, appearing to have just swung through a few embers. The toad feels two feet land on its head, signaling that Kai had leaped out of the way just in time. But before the toad can react, it feels itself being pulled down into the water they are standing on.*
"Suiton: Naruto Rengoku!" (Water Release: Maelstrom Purgatory)
*Kai then leaps off of the toad's head as it is sucked into the swirling vortex leading to the bottom of the ocean with a loud cry, before it desummons itself to escape its certain death, landing in front of the maelstrom on the water.* "They shouldn't have assumed I'd be that weak from a small scratch like this." *He then tenses up his entire body, flexing what's left of his right arm and causing a burst of flame to ignite from where his arm was cut off, taking the shape of his arm. In a second or two, the flames die down and turn to ash, revealing a perfectly new arm underneath them where his old arm had been.*
"Not as durable as a Toad Sage, but this comes in handy." *He flexes his hand to test it out for a second before his gaze turns to Naruto, and then to Jiraiya. Wanting to help Naruto, he curses at the fact that Jiraiya must be stopped first. Making up his mind, he disappears in a flash, creating a trail of water and dust, from it being kicked up by his feet, up the mountain he had just been on. The blur that is Kai then leaps as he reaches the mountain's peak, heading straight for Jiraiya using his superior speed. He leaps past Jiraiya, behind his back as the giant Rasengan is in front of him, and grabs Jiraiya around the waist. He pivots himself quickly to turn Jiraiya to the side, releasing him almost instantly to avoid his hair needles, at the same time tossing Jiraiya away from the village with his attack still in hand, heading for Naruto on the outside where he and the 5 toads are engaged.*
"Incoming!"
((You can go and kick the toad's asses too if you want, or have Jiraiya's own attack obliterate them, and then deal with Jiraiya. I was trying to do a team assist here, since Naruto and Kai are at a slight disadvantage with also having to protect the village as well lol))

Naruto * while what was going on with Kai he does a set of one handed hand signs like hakus hand sign then his hand seal on his palm lights up as he does a toad slasher appears between the five toads the new toad slashes the other toads of jayrias as they are sliced in almost an instance they all disappears *
Naruto- seemingly makes the motion of him taking a step backwards mid air he disappears for a split second and in a yellow flash naruto appears behind jayria with the red ball like rasengan with two rings around it in jayrias back but instend of the devastating effects rasengan has the chakra seems to absorb into jayria but in that split moment jayria would cough up blood the ball destroys the bones within his body as they break they would also peirce his vital organs and he would cough up blood he would then again turn to ash ( dark release revival fist)

Jiraiya: *Gasps for breath as each blow connects, tearing his body apart more and more before being ignited by the attack. He curls into a ball and finally bursts into flames that reduces his torn body to ash completely.*
Kai: *His eyes sharp as ever, notices that the ashes are moving irregularly, already having witnessed what they did last time himself.* "Not yet..." *He trails off as he leaps up, bending one knee while bringing his arms out in front of him, fully stretched out with his fists connected. The fiery astral projection of a phoenix emerges from his body and darts forward towards the ashes, its white eyes blazing. As the ashes begin to reform, the phoenixes ghostly body engulfs them completely, and Jiraiya reforms himself completely, finding himself unable to move an inch.*
Jiraiya: *His eyes widen immediately as he struggles to move.* "What did you...?"
Kai: *Now appears to be standing in front of Jiraiya, his hand held up in a fist that appears to be holding some sort of rope attached to Jiraiya. The rope is not physical, but rather spiritual.*
"Phoenixes are more mental and spiritual than physical. I've projected my power into you, which is binding your movements completely. Your ability to use chakra has been shut off. In my hand, I hold the connection to your soul. I've heard that by freeing your soul from this cursed body you've been summoned in, you'll be free from the technique." *He smiles sadly.* "For a while, you were able to experience what a true phoenix feels like. Did you know that when a phoenix dies, or is killed, it bursts into flames, and then is reborn from the ashes? They are truly immortal creatures. But you, on the other hand, deserve to sleep peacefully."
Jiraiya: *A tear forms in his eye and he looks over to his old pupil.* "I never got to treat you to that big bowl of ramen to congratulate you on your training. Now I guess I owe you an even bigger bowl, hehehehe." *Through the tears of being able to see his student again, and having to leave once again, he is still able to smile with pride like he always used to.*

* naruto smiles big as he looks at his old master and he closes his eye as a tear falls down his face *it'd better be their when i meet you on the other side pervy sage* he says with a grin on his face turns to a smile as he opens his eyes happy to have been able to see jiraiya one last time* i never did get to say a right farwell you know..now i do. and now you can rest

Jiraiya: *He smiles back before a mischievous grin forms on his face.* "So then. Before I say my goodbyes, I have to ask about you and Sakura. Did you ever finally get inside those-" *Before he can finish, however, a coffin, like the ones used for the technique that summoned him, emerges from underneath him, enclosing around him with a loud slam, cutting off Kai's connection to Jiraiya.*
Kai: *He slides back from the sudden upset, pulling his arm back as the connection is broken.* "What the hell? No... he's been summoned back to the user. Somehow he knew we caught him!" *He growls in frustration as the coffin sinks into the ground. As it vanishes, Kai lands on the ground where it once was, causing a small hole to form in the ground where his fist impacted in a failed attempt to bust it open. He sighs and hangs his head, getting off of his knees to stand and look up.*
"I guess that was just Student vs Master, Act 1."

I suppose so... * looks at Kai... * that was quite dissappointing ... But luckily we were able to be here when he showed up.. Otherwise this could have been even more devastating .... Couglaulations you where able to safe your home ... * Naruto begins walking off into the village * I think I'll get some of that food you were talking about before... * he laughs thinking back to his memory's the sun coming down slowly * what a day...

Kai: *He nods at Naruto before watching him walk off for a second, then looks down into his open palm, clenching it into a shaking fist.* "Hn. I can't believe I almost went... soft." *With everything said and done, Kai's form reverts back to normal, and he puts his hands in his pockets and walks off towards the Raikage's office, now having even more reports to give than before.*

Kai: *He looks up at the Raikage's window in the middle of his walk. Opting to skip using the door, he crouches down and leaps up to the ledge near the window, putting a hand on the window sill and jumping in feet-first. As he stands before the Raikage, he kneels down onto one knee before standing again.*
"Sorry for the delay, Thunder Thighs. You probably already heard it outside, but we got held up by one of those revived warriors we've been hearing reports about. This time it was Jiraiya. No doubt the supposed enemy is moving against us as well."
(Since he knows the Raikage well, he is less formal. Thunder Thighs is his nickname for him, a pun on the phrase "Thunder Thighs". In this case it refers to the Raikage's speed, which sounds like thunder when he runs lol.)

(( Lol what's an RP story without a few antagonists?  Nagato and Orochimaru are a no go though, as their souls are sealed away in Itachi's/Sekiryō's eyes. Itachi's one of the good Edo Tensei brought back. Gaara was fully revived by Rin'ne Tensei so that Lora could have a reunion with him sometime, and soon we'll have an army of the undead coming at us lol. Haha yes this would be an interesting book. And get back here you lurker!)) Kai: *He walks over to the window to see Naruto, who is barely visible in the distance now.* "When Naruto came in here, did he mention any kind of proposition? By my urging, I suggested that the Hokage contact you, to form an alliance against this threat and to hire me personally to help safeguard their village." *He turns around to face the Raikage, his finger pointed to his own forehead.* "I have a plan, see? And it should work with their cooperation. Also..." *He takes a few steps closer, crossing his arms.* "I'm my pursuit of Zaka, Naruto had been with him, and had opposed me quite a bit. Even without actually having to fight him, I can tell he'd be a decent challenge for me if we were to face each other." *He then bows once more.* "Forgive me, but when we were attacked, I was forced to reveal one of my secrets, my Sage Mode, to him. This may be problematic in the future, because even if he's not a true enemy, he may still get in the way of my mission. Helping out Konoha would also put them in our debt, and make things easier." *He stands up once again, brushing his shoulder off a bit.* "That said, the neuro-poison I used on Zaka obviously failed tokill him, just as I had expected. Trace amounts of the chemical left behind allow me access to his senses, so I can see, hear, smell, taste, and feel what he feels when I want to, essentially allowing me to become Zaka in a sense. I can keep tabs on him this way, but also stay up to date on business going on in the Sand." |

*he listens with a stone face and eyes closed* he didn't make any mention of alliance, that I can recall but then again that is the hokage's duty but I fear the, leaf is, already allied with the sand and, if the, sand find, out that I have you after one of their top shinobi they will throw a fit but an alliance can be proposed to the leaf and, you will be my ambassador and, keep me informed*smiles a bit though it, looks closer to a smirk* I still have, big plans for you kai but we won't go into detail with that yet
