This is neither a hello nor a goodbye, really. I'm just returning from a long hiatus. I still don't know how active I'll be, but I've returned with something new in mind.
To be short, I don't like Part 2 of Naruto, really. It's decent sometimes, but it's no longer a manga about ninja and tactical fighting and technique. It's more about super powered humans in a DBZ-esque fashion. It's become too convoluted, and it sort of affected my characters' story lines. They became convoluted, less about ninja, to the point where actual ninja characters wouldn't stand a chance (though I think we've all suffered that with our characters to some degree).
I'm gonna go back to the roots of Part 1 and sort of... retell my characters' stories. I won't be changing a whole lot, per say, but I'm thinking of making them academy students again, and going through their stories again, maybe thinking it out more so dots connect a lot smoother, and so the stories don't change too much. If others want to do this with their characters, they're welcome to join in. My characters pretty much reached a level of growth where there's not much left to do with them, so it's gotten... boring.
